APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Eastwood Epoxy Primer should be applied in medium wet coats, with a 30-minute flash period between each (at 70 °F). Typically, one to two coats is enough to achieve the desired 1 mil. dry film thickness, though more material may be applied as needed. Additional build requires longer flash periods between coats. Epoxy primer may be topcoated after approximately 30 minutes (wait 45-60 minutes after applying more than two coats), or up to about five days. After five days, primer MUST be scuff sanded prior to topcoat application. May be sanded (wet) the day after application. Wait two to three days before sanding dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Primer worked as expected. I'm not a paint pro so I had quite a bit of orange peel. I was able to wet sand the next day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute garbage Shot waited 72 hours and still tacky. Finger prints everywhere I touch the part. Waste of my time and money. Now because I used this product I will have to strip my parts again. Spend more money on a reputable company’s primer and more time in the shop.

This is a sealer primer and can sit for a long extended period of time and still be top-coated with more epoxy primer as long as it is scuffed and cleaned prior to being sprayed.
