Eastwood Heavy Duty Body Cart Eastwood Heavy Duty Body Cart

A heavy-duty body cart from Eastwood helps you get the job done right.

If your current project requires restoring an auto body frame, you’ll need a way to prop that frame in order to do the job right. Letting it rest on the floor with uneven pressure points could cause damage, or create a wobble that makes hard work harder than it needs to be.

This heavy-duty car body stand solves that problem. It spans as wide as 57-by-70 inches to handle large vehicle bodies, and includes four 8-inch locking swivel casters for excellent mobility and positioning. The all-steel support structure of this heavy-duty cart handles up to 2,000 pounds.

The pads can be adjusted for an overall height of 19 to 20.5 inches, letting you correct for uneven frames. And the powder coating gives long-lasting protection, ensuring this heavy-duty body cart will last for as many restoration projects as you want to work on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great with some mods This cart works great but the plastic adjustment knobs spin off of the pins holding the rails in place. So we had to weld some 1/2" bar to ours to make T-handles. Once we did that it works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Probably would be 5 stars if the shipping on replacement part was reasonabl Overall the cart is awesome, it arrived missing a part which took months to arrive which was very frustrating

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hands down the worst Cart I have ever worked with. Spend the extra money and get the auto twirler. Cart does not wheel good. The casters are cheap and do not spin around. Takes two people to make it go in a straight line. The twist bolts do not secure the tubes good and it comes apart while moving it. The Mount pads are not secured to the Cart it relies on the weight of whatever you put on the Cart to hold. I have worked with numerous carts in thw 30+ years of restoring cars and hands down this is by far the worst I have worked with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality control. Bad threads on one of the posts. Bad threads on 2 of the nuts for tightening the struts.

Will this body cart work with a 1963 Chevrolet impala? Does the body just sit on the cart or does it actually bolt on to the cart?

Asked by: 63SSClassic
This should work with the vehicle in reference however with so many makes and models out there we can not say 100%. We can only offer the specs we list on the website and you will have to take some measurements of your own to guarantee this. The body will just sit on the pads on this cart; it does not bolt onto it.

Best way to prepare a chrome bumper for painting?

The best way to prepare chrome to be painted would be thoroughly scuffing the surface with a scuff pad to give the paint something to bite into and then cleaning with PRE painting prep.
