Good product, poor deliveryI bought 3 cans of this primer: one was a waste, as the tip clogged and replacing it didn't work; one sprayed less than half the contents before the tip clogged; one worked well. Too bad, as the primer does offer what seems to be a high build, but I wasted too much money on defective cans.

Very poor productHad a small project that didn't warrant setting up my spray gun, so I bought this high build primer. At first it just sprayed clear, very little coverage or fill, so I thought I needed to shake the can for a few more minutes. Finally I started to get some coverage spraying at 4 to 5 inches, so it took time to cover. Next, the spay tip started to sputter, so I removed it and cleaned it out. It worked for awhile but then would simply stop spraying. I had bought a second can and that worked a bit better, but still had the coverage problem. The first can never worked again so I tried swapping tips, but that didn't work so I finally had to toss the half full can.
The product did wet sand easily, but didn't fill-build the surface very well. What I had was more like an expensive guide coat. Total waste of money and time. Back to the spray gun.
Yes, body filler can be applied over Eastwood High Build Primer, but make sure to scuff or sand the primer before applying filler for good adhesion. Always follow proper drying and curing times for both the primer and filler.

Can I use Kem Lustral enamel on top of this primer?
Asked by: Kyle
The advice is, can be top coated with all 1K, 2K, Solvent based and Waterbourne Paints. Recommend trying a small area to test compatibility of enamel.

Is this considered a sealer primer? Every say I have to put a sealer primer on before final top coat, is this true?
