Description

Eastwood Interstate Black - The deepest, darkest, blackest black available. Ultra jet black pigments are finely ground and processed for extra time for maximum color development. Available only in single-stage, which is the best way to achieve a miles-deep appearance suitable for the most high-end refinish and restoration projects.

Eastwood Interstate Black has a gloss level of 95%+ which makes it the highest gloss black paint available with a super wet and deep shine.

Eastwood's premium Single-Stage Acrylic Urethane Topcoat provides exceptional long-lasting beauty and durability.

  • Catalyzed urethane for unsurpassed durability
  • Highly resistant to UV rays, chemicals, chips
  • Makes 1 sprayable gallon when mixed 3:1 with a required activator
  • Approximate coverage: 125 SQ FT
  • Max Temperature: Paint will handle up to 300 degrees without delamination, but color shift may occur, so it should not be used in a high heat setting

will one gallon cover a miata?

If not applying to under hood and door jambs a gallon would be enough. If you plan to do under hood and door jambs A gallon and at least another quart or two of this would be needed.

I know this is a single stage paint with clear already mixed in but what clearcoat would you recommend to use? I’m trying not to cross brand materials so I’m hoping Eastwood has a ready to spray clear that’s compatible.

Is clear coat needed when using the activator and reducer?or can you use the clear instead of the reducer?Also when spraying primer over metal does it need sanded down then spray or can you just spray over the primer?
