Best single stage metallic I've usedI used this color last year painting my truck. Easy to mix and spray. The metallic really pops in the sun!

Great color!Great color ,really sparkle's in the sun. Comes out a little darker than anticipated. It is a thin paint so it requires a couple extra coats for coverage.
What is your recommended clear to use with this color? I know it isn’t mandatory with single stage but recommended with metallics.

Is this the same (or close) to an Oldsmobile Jade Gold paint (1968 color)?

Unfortunately we do not have the ability to match or cross reference to any paint codes, makes, models, years etc. This color is made for us and arrives to us pre mixed and packaged.

If planning to do under hood and door jambs a second gallon kit would be recommended.

Is this just a base coat paint that has to be cleared over?
Asked by: Chuckey
This is a single-stage product and does not need clear. However, we recommend a clear with metallic colors t help burry the flake when it comes time to buff.
