Eastwood Lead Sled Metallic - With slightly larger flakes than those found in Chop Top Silver, this color has a brighter, more modern metallic look.
Eastwood's premium Single-Stage Acrylic Urethane Topcoat provides exceptional long-lasting beauty and durability.
- Catalyzed urethane for unsurpassed durability
- Highly resistant to UV rays, chemicals, chips
- Makes 1 sprayable gallon when mixed 3:1 with a required activator
- Approximate coverage: 125 SQ FT
- Flake/Pearl Particle size: 25-40 microns
- Max Temperature: Paint will handle up to 300 degrees without delamination, but color shift may occur, so it should not be used in a high heat setting

Color nothing like depicted
Actual tone is nothing like the way it’s depicted. It turns out to be more like a bright silver. Asked if something could be done to alleviate my loss. Representative said “Purchase different paint”. Thanks for that Eastman! Especially after your “liquid chrome” disappointed me also. No more.

Can you make this color with less metallic effect? Or pearl instead?

What size tip is recommended to spray this paint?
A 1.4mm or 1.5mm would be best for this particular color.

What is the recoat window for adding stripes and a clear coat ?
This paint fully cures in about 18 hours after being applied. To avoid sanding (which you don't want to do with metallic) you want to do this before the 18 hour window.
