Excellent shop tool!
This saw is great! I had to do eight 12" long notches in 1/4" mild steel and in a spot where using the torch or plasma cutter was not ideal, handled it well! My first unit had some weird gear chatter but its replacement is working perfectly.

Beast of a saw
Bought this saw to cut an 8” X 14” piece of 3/8” plate that local metal dealer wanted $75 to cut. Could not believe has fast and easy it was to cut and now I still have my own equipment for future projects.

Eastwood Electric Mini Metal Saw
I use this tool to cut 6061 T6 Aluminum which it does very well. The Eastwood Electric Mini Metal Saw is superior to Jig saws with metal cutting blades in which "sticky" aluminum will promptly clog up the teeth. Good tool for the job.

Excellent product.
Rips through metal like a regular saw through wood. As always, should have bought this years ago.

Pleasantly surprised
I was tired of cut off wheels on angle grinders, and even the diamond blades too. They're junk compared to this little saw. I just cut two 4ft diamond plate steel that's 1/4" thick yesterday this would've taken me an hour and probably 20 cut off wheels, but this is the little saw that could... It took about 90 seconds per sheet. Unbelievable...WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!

Questions & Answers
The description indicates that a diamond blade for stainless steel is recommended. Please provide the part number for this blade.
Unfortunatly we do not sell that diamond blade, You would need a diamond blade that has a blade size: 4-3/4" x 3/8".

How many cuts will the blade make before it needs replacing?
First time using this saw and we got 48 cuts on 3/4" dia round mild steel. Found 4 of the teeth tips broke off.

Can this cut cleanly through abnormal shapes, such as aluminum extrusion (8020)?
I believe a bandsaw would work better for your application.
