Description

Get the flexibility you need to see wherever you’re working with an Eastwood Modular LED Light Module. This shop lighting system utilizes the latest LED technology to achieve the brightest 1000-lumen light output and industry-leading energy efficiency. It has an adjustable handle and stand with a magnetic base so you can hang it on a hook, set it in the trunk or stick it to the fender. The progressive dimming feature allows infinitely adjustable light output to provide only the light needed while conserving battery power. Use the three-function switch to operate the dimmer and turn it off or on.

I've used it while working under the dash and in the trunk, and I've also attached it to the metal cabinets over my work bench for extra lighting. The magnetic base is really helpful because you can position it anywhere. The charge life seems a little short, but it's easy to plug in while in use for long periods. I'm going to buy a few more to have around.

This light is the greatest, and lights up the entire engine bay like, or better than direct sunlight. Loved the magnetic base. (I use it to magnetize my screwdriver bits). You can leave it plugged in all the time with no harm to the batteries, so it is always ready to go. Cu do's for a great product at a really good price!

No more fighting with a handheld shop light. I should have purchased this long ago. Don't expect the batteries to last more than 3 hours between charges but if you keep them plugged while using they will stay up for however long is needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome light I'm really liking this light. The light dispersion characteristics are awesome and of course it's nice and bright. The light performs as advertised lasting just over 1.5 hours on high. The only modification I would make to these lights is to provide the ability to rotate 360 degrees. If you set the light on a fender (horizontal orientation) for example you can't aim it downward. To address this issue, I fabricated a simple auxiliary stand using an old magnetic dial indicator base and attached a piece of angle iron to a bolt that screws into the base.

That’s why 4 stars, I think it should last longer than that. Plus I have a review about my light bar that broke on its second use. So after 4 years I’ve had to repair the light bar and replace one of the lights you decide.

I have found that after charging the battery tends to have slow drain. It isn't a big issue having two lights, but then they don't last as long. I still like they system for working under hood.

I'm adding this review because yesterday I knocked one of my lights in the a pan of gear oil completely submerging it. Ha, I could only see the light shining through the oil. It never stopped working even after using a degreaser and water to clean it off. Smells but work fine. :D

How will cold effect the battery? Up in the north our garages get cold in the winter will the cold harm the batteries? Will leaving the charger hooked up protect batteries from the cold?

Extreme cold will shorten the time this unit can run without being plugged in. There would be no need to leave them plugged in continually, only as needed.

The underhood light bar will have its own mounts for the lights. When used on the tripod the lights thread on.
