Great light at a good priceI’ve had these light for 4-5 years, and they have worked very well… they are bright, a good size, and typically easy to mount/stand in a way that is useful in most situations. I own 5 of these lights, and 2 of them have recently flashed lights when attempting to charge, indicating the batteries have reached the end of their useful life. Replacement batteries are easy to find on Amazon for less than $20, that are easily swapped. Would be nice if Eastwood sold replacement batteries, or better yet, battery upgrade.

great lightthis light works very well...but you need to be careful with the power cord....it tends to break at the light.
Are the plastic inserts that hold the elastic cord inside the bars available for purchase? One broke I guess due to real cold temps

How do you clean the lenses of paint booth overspray?

I think the lights get too hot for tape and I'd have a mess of melted tape and the glue on the tape which would make things worse. They are great lights for the DIY garage booth though which is the market Eastwood claims to serve but not for use in the DIY (even well ventilated) booth. If the lenses were glass then a diluted solvent would work but their made of some acrylic material and even diluted 1:1 they cloud up. I'll try to cut and buff with a 1" pad and see what I get.

Why does this combination of lights, tripod, and underhood light bar cost more than buying each component individually?
By buying the lights individually, a battery charger accompanies each light too.

Can you run the lights on high indefinitely if they remain plugged in? If yes, can they all 3 be plugged in at the same time or is it one charger and 3 lights?

Each light comes with its own charger. So you would plug in a charger per light. And yes you can run them on high with the charger plugged in. However, you're taking a chance of the battery not lasting as long as when using the light just running on the battery.

In the picture one of the lights seems to be held on the trunk with a magnet. Do these lights come with a magnetic base so it could be used without the tripod and the under the hood bar. Just stick it under the hood and it will stay held up by magnets?

There is a Strong Magnet on the mounting bracket. With that feature it make's the light very user friendly.

When the batteries fail (and they will, eventually) are the lights set up for user replacement or is this a disassemble, unsolder, solder in replacements effort? Just wanting to maximize the useful life of the lights since the price is a bit steep.
