All-In-One Eastwood Welder

When you're doing a full-scale auto restoration, sometimes one type of welding isn't going to be enough. The Eastwood 250-amp Multi-Process Inverter welder provides the ability to MIG, TIG or ARC (Stick) weld all from a single, high-powered, self-contained unit. All you have to do is switch torches to be able to do the quality welding you need on body panels, roll cages, custom-fab parts or other auto work. Weld thin sheet metal or up to ½-inch steel plate using these versatile machines. The MP250i doesn't stop there either. You can also stick weld aluminum using the included supplies or add an optional spool gun for MIG welding aluminum.

The Eastwood MP250i Multi-Process 250 Amp Welder Features:

  • Operates on either 120v or 240v
  • Welds steel and stainless
  • Welds aluminum, with optional spool gun - 20172 Spool Gun
  • IGBT inverter based power supply
  • Welds thin sheet metal or up to ½ inch steel plate
  • Hold either 8 or 12 inch wire spools
  • Square wave inverter
  • 10 feet long power cord so you can weld anywhere

Power & Versatility for Your Shop

The MP250i is the best multi-process welder that Eastwood offers. Powerful IGBT square wave inverter-based power supply is capable of over 250 amps of output on 240VAC with a 60 percent duty cycle at the full output. It is configured to hold either 8- or 12-inch spools of wire and utilizes up to 0.045-inch wire diameters for complete versatility. Furthermore, it runs on both 120v and 240v power, so you can plug it into pretty much any household or garage outlet. (Note that the maximum output is 140 amps at 120v.) You don't need a cart for this welder either, as it is built with four wheels plus 15-foot torches and ground cables so you can roll it around as needed.

Extra Welding Supplies Add Value

This self-contained welder includes pretty much everything you need to use it as a TIG welder, MIG welder or stick welder. You'll receive torches, TIG consumables, MIG tips, gas bottle chains and hose, an adaptor cord and much more. Add a tank and gas for a TIG/MIG welder and your favorite wire or tungsten rods and you're all set to begin. In addition to our product video below, the Eastwood Garage has a number of videos and articles about the different welding techniques so you can take full advantage of your new welder. It comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty and our legendary 100 percent customer satisfaction guarantee.

The rated Duty Cycle refers to the amount of welding that can be done within an amount of time. The Eastwood MP250i has a Duty Cycle of 60% at 250 Amps. It is easiest to look at your welding time in blocks of 10 Minutes and the Duty Cycle being a percentage of that 10 Minutes. If welding at 250 Amps with a 60% Duty Cycle, within a 10 Minute block of time you can weld for 6 Minutes with 4 Minutes of cooling for the Welder. If the Duty Cycle is exceeded, the Welder will automatically shut off, however the fan will continue running to cool the internal components. When a safe temperature has been reached, the Welder will automatically switch the Welder output back on. To increase the Duty Cycle you can turn down the Voltage Output control.
