So EasyI am a DIY person. I could not believe how easy it was to apply the Epoxy primer and Urethane primer with a roller. More importantly I was pleasantly surprised how great it looked. Made it so easy for preping for the base coat.

Roll-On PrimerI love it. I only wish they had roll on top coat as well. I used the black and the gray and they both had a lot longer pot life than was described which I actually liked. It gave me a bit more working time

Love this high build primer!I built plugs and created fender flares for my 1964 Corvette. My wife is very sensitive to chemicals and I can’t spray primer in my garage. No worries as this Optiflow Epoxy primer is high quality, easy to use, and lays down flat. Once I finish the rear fenders, I’ll block the entire car and roll on the Urethane primer.
As long as you'd like, but after 4 days you'll need to scuff with 320 and 400 grit sandpaper to top coat over it.

Before applying the Eastwood OptiFlow Epoxy Primer Gallon and Catalyst Kit, you should prep the bare metal by sanding it with 120 and 180 grit abrasive paper. This ensures proper adhesion of the primer to the surface

Can this product be tinted? if so how would you recommend..?
Asked by: BSTKR
Yes, epoxy primer can be tinted. Although, we do not have a recommendation based on ensuring that the tinting agent is compatible with the epoxy primer to maintain its properties. Eastwood recommends and supplies gray, white or black.
