Solid, Spacious and VersatileI was surprised by the rigidity of this rack. It's really quite solid and can hold some real weight. It rolls smoothly when loaded without flexing and its adjustable height provides a lot of room if you don't mind using string to suspend more parts below the hooked parts.

Would this rack hold fenders, and doors for 1955 chevy truck while being painted?

As long as the items are under the 320 lbs you should be able to use this rack while you paint.

Besides the price, what is the difference betweenLarry 1 the 16144 portable paint rack and the 15856 portable paint rack?

The main difference really is just the brand. #16144 is our Eastwood brand whereas #15856 is made by Astro Pneumatic. The Astro Pneumatic version #15856 does have a slightly higher height adjustment of up to 8ft whereas our Eastwood one #16144 will extend to a maximum height of 6.6 ft.

Is there away to brake the rack down, without full disassembly, for storage to save space when not in use?

The best method would be to remove two bolts from the center supports. This would allow you to break the unit into two easier to store pieces.

can this tollerate the over temperature for power coating?

The casters on the unit are made from plastic and will not withstand the heat of an oven.
