Eastwood Royal Blue - This deep, dark, indigo color is made with spectacular blue pearl effect particles that shimmer in the sun.

Eastwood's premium Single-Stage Acrylic Urethane Topcoat provides exceptional long-lasting beauty and durability.

  • Catalyzed urethane for unsurpassed durability
  • Highly resistant to UV rays, chemicals, chips
  • Makes 1 sprayable gallon when mixed 3:1 with a required activator
  • Approximate coverage: 125 SQ FT
  • Flake/Pearl Particle size: 10-60 microns
  • Max Temperature: Paint will handle up to 300 degrees without delamination, but color shift may occur, so it should not be used in a high heat setting
  • Made in the USA

This premium 2-component topcoat system is blended with top-quality raw materials and advanced composition coatings technology. Superior to acrylic, alkyd and lacquer coatings. Eastwood's single-stage urethane paints hold their gloss longer and won't yellow.

    Can I get a quart of this for touching up some spots after reassembling a vehicle? I don’t need another whole gallon

    Not an answer but a request for quart sizes as I know there are others looking for smaller amounts for touch up , multi color design , motorcycle painting and other projects that dont warrant a gallon of paint.

    How exactly do I mix the 3 to 1 single stage paint

    You would mix it 3 parts paint to 1 part activator. If you are having issues with the ratio we recommend looking into these mixing cups below. https://www.eastwood.com/universal-mixing-cups-1-qt-5-pc-set.html

    What would be the best clear coat to use for this particular paint?

    I would recommend using our European Urethane Clear over this finish. Or for a higher gloss our Premium Show Clear

    Does this Paint/Catalyst mixture require thinner when sprayed?

    Reducer is not required but strongly recommended. This is recommended to be reduced no more than 20% with any of our Urethane reducers.

    can this paint be color sanded and buffed 3:1 single stage paint

    It would not be recommended as it would be pretty hard to not disrupt the flake pattern. A clear coat should be applied over then that can be sanded and buffed if desired.
