Description

Have you seen the new Cordless Portable Tungsten Grinder? The 12 Volt Lithium Ion Cordless TG2000 Tungsten Grinder is great when you're working in tight spots like around a roll cage or simply want a unit that is 100% portable.

Mark Winchester, Winchester Metal Works

“A good weld starts with good tungsten prep“

Eastwood Tungsten Grinder

Why Buy This Tool? A Sharp Tungsten Will:

  • Increase arc control
  • Increase arc stability
  • Eliminate porosity with contaminated tungsten electrodes
  • Eliminate arc wander on outside corners
  • Create better looking, stronger and better penetrating welds with consistent and accurate tungsten prepared points

Do higher-quality welds by preparing your tungsten the right way with this handheld tungsten grinder. It has slots that firmly hold your electrode at the exact angle (either 10 or 22.5 degrees) for a proper sharpening. You’ll always end up with the perfect point to increase arc control and stability for more consistent results. Sharpening the electrode also reduces contamination and arc wander. The double-sided diamond grinding wheel can sharpen tungsten more than 200 times — 100 sharpenings or more on each side — before it needs to be replaced.

Must Have Tool If You Own A TIG Welder

Professional fabricators and DIYers both use our TIG tungsten grinding tool to save time and money while creating better-looking, stronger welds. This grinder can be used on all tungsten colors that are either a 1/16-inch or 3/32-inch diameter. We’ve redesigned it to increase power and reduce vibrations for even more precise sharpening, especially compared to a bench grinding wheel. Eastwood offers pro-quality TIG welding tools at hobbyist prices with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty for your peace of mind.

If you own a TIG welder you need this tool. Increase arc control, increase arc stability, eliminate porosity with contaminated tungsten electrodes, eliminate arc wander on outside corners, create better looking, stronger and better penetrating welds with consistent and accurate tungsten prepared points.

Easy to use and sharpens over 200 Tungstens

  • Works with all color tungsten’s
  • Works with 1/16” and 3/32” tungstens
  • Grinds 10° and 22.5° angles
  • Designed to create the optimum rpm for the diamond sharpening wheel
  • Diamond wheel is double sided for long life
  • Sharpen over 200 tungsten’s (100 or more each side)
  • New and improved unit with more power and less vibration for even better welds
  • 1 Year Warranty

Save Time and Money

This convenient tool will save you a lot of time. You will no longer need to stop your welding project to get up and go to your bench grinder to sharpen your tungsten. Now you have the tungsten sharpener right there at the job, and time is money.

Pro Fabricator & TIG Welder Review

“I was really impressed with the ease of use and how portable it was, getting it in and out of the roll cage. The consistency of the grinds - all the tips looked great and because of that the arc stability is unmatched by other tungsten grinders or using a bench grinder” – Matt Rad

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Not much to say, pretty simple tool. I have sharpened about 50 tungsten, or probably say conditioned them. Not sharpening from new. If you are a Tig welder or just starting out this is a great cheap choice in my opinion.
