Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light Duty This a lightweight, low-strength stand. It works fine for my small 6" grinder, though even that will make the stand dance around when the stand's not secured. The top plate was not flat out of the box, warped a bit. Of course it straightened out when I bolted the grinder to it. I do like that it came with a couple bolts and washers for securing the grinder. If you'll need more than two, you'll need to buy more. So, yes, I'd recommend this stand, but only for light-duty use. I just wanted to get my light-duty grinder off my workbench. If you need something substantial, look past this one to the other offerings. But if you only need a light-duty stand, this might be tough to beat at the sale price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked good. Every went together fast, but had to go to a hardware store to buy missing 10 mm set screws, to attach the post to the base. Would have given a better rating if all the hardware was there.Mounted the 8 inch grinder/belt sander combo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with some extra effort I bought this with the 1HP buff motor. I thought the stand was a bit too unstable for this application so I drilled and tapped the post for the bottom 3 bolts and then drilled and tapped the post and motor base with 2 extra holes. Once together with all the bolts tightened into the post it is very stable. It is so stable that by adding rubber feet to the stand I can use without bolting to the floor. Took an extra hour but it is worth the effort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent value. Excellent value. as stated in product information, design for bolting to floor, but can also bolt to wooden board(s). I bought a second stand after using the first one for several months.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weak base When I tried mounting this to my garage floor two of the mounting feet broke while i was tightening the nuts. I hadn't tightend very much when they broke. I called Eastwood and the sent me a new base. I mounted the new base with no problem. It is still not as stable as I would like. Hopefully it holds up.
