Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy stuff to apply! bought this to preserve to bare metal tank for my bike, and since its going to be olive drab anyway, I decided to try it. Easy to apply, went on like butter! Looks really cool, it may just stay on there til it needs a repaint!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good Used it to paint my wheels 3 weeks ago, so far no chips or pealing, excellent coverage and dries really fast, very happy with the results. Haven't tried to remove from wheels ( no need to ) I removed it from a test piece of metal the paint really sticks and comes off clean. Very flexible without cracking. Great stuff !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big Disapointment DO NOT USE I bought this several months ago after watching youtube videos and reading reviews. I have used other Eastwood products and been very happy with them (rust remover/rubber coating). This was a big disappointment. I applied 2 cans to 2 panels of my car. The test panel applied quickly and easily and it seemed to be working well. The second can would not build like the other one. After drying, the very first time I closed one of the doors I had coated, the act of closing and opening it ripped huge holes in the ElastiWrap. It never fully cured after days in the sun, touching it with my fingers caused it to pull off the door. The edges around the logo peeled away by themselves. The other door (first can) did not have this problem. I wondered if I had gotten a bad batch in that one can. However I decided this was irrelevant and I did not want to coat my entire SUV with a product that may or may not work - it would be too risky and I didn't want to waste the time and money. Plus it looked pretty bad with the holes in it. So I decided to remove the ElastiWrap. That's when the real trouble started. Despite never adhering properly to the vehicle, it would NOT COME OFF. The edges peeled right off like in the promo videos. However the entire middle section STILL won't come off. I spent 45 minutes trying to peel it, then moved to a scrub brush and a scraper, still wouldn't come off. I coated the entire thing in paint remover and spent another hour scraping like crazy. All I'm left with is a nasty sticky mess. It looks like a first grader tried to paint my car. The door that I originally painted (the one that went on properly and worked well) won't even peel. I have scratched it with scrapers, fingernails, brushes, doesn't matter it won't come off except in tiny little scratches. No peeling like in the videos. It looks TERRIBLE. One panel looks like someone has keyed my car repeatedly and the other looks like a preschooler's mess. Trying this was a big mistake and I am really unhappy. I think I'm going to have to use sandpaper to get the stuff off my car, and that will ruin the paint job underneath. That means spending more money and I've wasted hours on this.
