Outstanding saw[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m rebuilding my utility trailer and have to cut several rectangle ,and angle metal. I was looking at evolution 14” when I came across the 7 1/4” chop saw. Perfect for what I need. Don’t cut big stuff anymore and don’t need 14” blade. This. Saw is fantastic. Could not be any happier with the purchase. Strongly recommend this saw. Thanks evolution

Fantastic saw[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put off buying this saw for a while. I finally got it about a month ago and it really changed my process.
Great little saw. Much less time cutting and grinding and more time fabricating and welding.

Terrific metal cutting saw.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this tool. I wish I had purchased it sooner. For the type of metal cutting I do regularly, this saw has made the job much easier, safer and more accurate.
Would you recommend this saw or one of your band saws if I was cutting 1/2" round bar, lots of it, 2000 or so cuts? Basically, which blade holds up best for the money?
Asked by: Richard
For your use case I would recommend a water-cooled blade bandsaw. The cut will be cleaner, more precise, and you have the potential to load it up and make multiple cuts in one go. The large water-cooled blade of a bandsaw should far out last that of a small chop saw. Chop saws are convenient for quick and dirty cuts.

How do you change the blade on the 7.25 metal cutting chopsaw?
Is there a video?
I've looked on Evolutions YouTube page but could not find a video.

It says "7-1/4” specialty blades are available for cutting thin steel, stainless steel, aluminum, wood & masonry"- where do I find the other blades? I'm looking for the aluminum one.
Asked by: Josh
Sorry to confuse. These blades are available from Evolution. We are an authorized seller but we have just the metal cutting blades as we specialize in automotive repair.
