Clean cuts cool enough to touch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had mine over two months it's 3 times faster than a friction cut saw. Definitely want to ware your safety glasses.
Next purchase will be the circular saw for cutting plate.

Quieter than my chop saw. Accurate. Easier to grab cut products that are cold and not scolding hot like when using an ordinary chop saw.

This cutter is a beast.
I've been cutting 1"-2" square and angle iron for a decade with chop grinding wheels and band saws. It took just one test cut with this Evolution saw and I had a new best friend in the welding shop, it blew me away. I about shed a tear thinking of all the time I'd wasted using the now old cutting methods. Welcome to the shop Evolution.

Questions & Answers
Would you recommend this saw or one of your band saws if I was cutting 1/2" round bar, lots of it, 2000 or so cuts? Basically, which blade holds up best for the money?
For your use case I would recommend a water-cooled blade bandsaw. The cut will be cleaner, more precise, and you have the potential to load it up and make multiple cuts in one go. The large water-cooled blade of a bandsaw should far out last that of a small chop saw. Chop saws are convenient for quick and dirty cuts.

How do you change the blade on the 7.25 metal cutting chopsaw? Is there a video? I've looked on Evolutions YouTube page but could not find a video.
This is discussed on pg. 13 in the instruction manual. Here is al ink to this manual from our website: https://www.evolutionpowertools.com/downloads/manuals/steel/web_evosaw185_eng.pdf

It says "7-1/4” specialty blades are available for cutting thin steel, stainless steel, aluminum, wood & masonry"- where do I find the other blades? I'm looking for the aluminum one.
Sorry to confuse. These blades are available from Evolution. We are an authorized seller but we have just the metal cutting blades as we specialize in automotive repair.
