Eastwood 2K High-Gloss Clear Aerosol allows you to paint with the durability and precision of a two-component coating without the paint gun! Formulated with Eastwood proprietary technology to provide a long-lasting and durable finish, while keeping its beautiful finish for years.

Application Tips
Before activating, shake aerosol vigorously for 2 min. Take red button from cap. Turn aerosol by 180° and attach button to pin on aerosol bottom. Place aerosol on firm ground upside down. Press red button with the ball of your hand until stop is reached.After activating, shake aerosol again vigorously for 2 min. Pot life is 48 up to 72 hours at 68 degrees F.

Outboard Motor Gear CaseRepaint
Needed to repaint the lower gear case on my 10 year old Yamaha outboard (lots of deep scratches and worn off paint from shallow bay fishing). After sanding down to bare metal and wiping down with lacquer thinner, I applied 3 coats of zinc chromate primer, 4 coats of Yamaha factory color, and 4 coats of Eastwood 2K high gloss clear (all rattle cans). Very happy with the results! Product certainly performed as advertised. No cut and buff required.

Top-flight rattle can 2K clear cost
Sprays consistently and covers well! Spraying the flat surfaces first and then vertical surfaces when the can is 2/3rds empty seems to work best. The best thing is that it's actually "clear" unlike the other brand you find in many auto shops (starts with D) that's honey-colored. I'll use it again!

Questions & Answers
Is there a threshold on what temps I can use this in. It is winter where I live and my garage is not heated. I am guessing it is in the 40's most of the time in the garage.
Ideal temp is around 72F. In general we do not want to see this used in temps below about 60F.

Can the 2K clear be used on an outboard motor sprayed with OEM Evinrude paint?
As long as surface has been scuffed with a Scotch guard Pad (RED) then cleaned with a pre paint prep.

can the 2-k clearcoat be sprayed over the top of Rust-oleum acrylic enamel paint
I have not sprayed over Rust-oleum before.
The Clear coat should not affect the Acrylic enamel as long as you prepped everything and scuffed and cleaned the surface

What is the recommended stripper to remove this clear from aluminum?
Lacquer may remove it.
Otherwise we have a stripper on our website.

I do not believe so as any chemical thinner will affect the paint somewhat.

How fuel and heat resistant is this? Want to use this on an exterior fuel tank that will be exposed to spills and heat from a small air cooled engine?

How many coats of the Eastwood 2K AeroSpray High Gloss are recommended? I am planning to use it on top, nose area of our RV.
For the top I would use two.
