Eastwood Brake Line Tubing Forming Tool Pliers

Product Overview:

Description

Align, bend and adjust 3/16" and 1/4" brake and fuel lines with just a twist of the wrist.

Make high-quality brake lines that perfectly fit the contours of your vehicle by using an Eastwood brake line forming tool. Whether you’re fitting new lines or decreasing the bend radius next to an end fitting, these brake line bending tool pliers are indispensable. The R&D guys developed this tool so you can align, bend and adjust 3/16" and 1/4" brake and fuel lines with just a twist of the wrist. Specially-shaped jaws prevent distortion so you don’t have to worry about kinking the line and limiting flow. Your hand will be comfortable as you work thanks to vinyl-grip handles.

  • Works on 3/16" and 1/4" lines
  • Brake lines or fuel lines
  • Aligns, bends and adjusts
  • Comfort-grip vinyl handles

Whether you’re creating custom fuel and brake lines or replacing broken lines, our brake line pliers Do the Job Right. They’re part of a complete series of Eastwood brake tools that also includes flaring tools, straighteners, brake bleeders and pad spreaders. Learn more about how to make your own brake lines with our online tutorial.

Formed Jaws For Brake Lines

Do not risk bending brake lines with traditional pliers. The shaped jaws on this brake line forming tool pliers bend 3/16" and 1/4" tubing without distortion. Use our brake tubing bender to alter angles or add compound curves on new and existing brake lines for proper fit. You’ll do so without the fear of "kinking" the wall and creating a dangerous restriction to fluid flow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well Only tried it on a scrap peice of tubing so far, but it worked great. I made a tight bend in 3/16" brake tubing, and it looked good with no kinking of the tubing. I'll be putting it to use in a day or two replumbing the brakes on a 67 Dodge Charger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Pliers I bought these bending pliers on a whim and I'm glad I did!! I had some brake lines I needed bent due to doing a motor swap and I almost freaked out til my buddy showed the pliers to me. So not only did the pliers do their job perfectly (fast too) they also saved me a bunch of money. I'm looking forward to doing more business with eastwood.com

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great tool I have just purchased this tool and found it to be a great for tweaking the brake line for the correct fit into the Brake Cylinder or Proportional Valve. It does leave a small mark where the jaws clamp onto the line but nothing that will impede the flow of fluid through to the brakes. All up, it works for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tool at a good price! I needed a good quality tube plier for tight bents close to fittings. I looked at several different pliers from different companies and found these to be the best for the money. It is a well-made plier and worked perfectly on forming several tight bends! Eastwood…please continue to provide quality tools at affordable prices to the auto enthusiast!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better than autozone tools... I'm running all new lines on my truck. I have one of the autozone tubing benders and it works really well but you cant make small, tight bends with it. I found these pliers on ebay for $15 so I thought I would try them out. I think the edge needs to be rounded all the way out to avoid kinking a line but it still beats wrapping the line around a socket to get a tight bend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tool Perfect for 3/16 size: no marks, fast and easy. A little bit more hard with 1/4 pipe, but it work well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nifty, Easy to Use Often as I make brake lines for race cars, I need a tight bend without crimping the line. I used many tools and methods to do this usually wasting a lot of time. This line pliers does the job easily. Now it is not a problem to make a tight bend close the fitting and get the line run just right. A must have tool for working with brake lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from When in a tight corner, bend your way out! There is no subsitute for a quality bender but with the Eastwood brake pliers, tight bends in a narrow confine are very easy. There is absolutely no way you can make a brake line fit a closely in a tight place and seem so factory like as with these pliers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tool I used this tool along with the Eastwood Steel 3/16 Brake line kit that came with fittings. For the price I thought it was worth a try. I found it very useful. For me it did make an tiny indention on some bends where I didn't do it well, but it never kinked or did anything close to what I would consider an issue. I used it to make a new driver side wheel to proportioning valve line, (2-3 tight 90 degree bends) came out great. I then made some custom hidden lines from the Master down to the frame. These worked great, very pleased with them and the brake line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice and they work for alot of jobs I use these quite often on nitrous hardlines. Especially for purge solenoids...good stuff, they work in tight areas without removing the part from the work area. Great tool!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I got it! Surprisingly, I need to use the brake line pliers within an hour of when they were delivered. The line on my compressor to the cut-off switch had developed a leak, and they were perfect to re-align the tubing so I could get up and running right away. I have used them a couple of times since then working on the brake and clutch lines on my Pontiac Fieros that I'm restoring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tool I work for a restoration shop in Houston, Tx. I have used these in a professional environment and I have seen professional results. I often find myself fabricating brake lines and these come in quite handy. Bare in mind, these are primarily designed for making slight adjustments and not complete bends. When used for what they're intended, these work great. They are a welcome addition to my tool box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good tool for the mechanic that has to get the job done I found these pliers to be particularly handy for tight bends and tight working spaces. They are not a manufacturing tool, so to speak, in that you don't insert the tubing and the tool does all the work for you. They provide a bending surface that helps prevent kinks, especially when the bend radius needs to be tighter than ideal for the tube diameter. The jaws of the pliers are sharp enough that they will leave a small ring cut into any coating on the tubing, so "working" a complicated bend will result in tool marks on the tube. All that being said, it is the first bender I reach for when doing brakes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent investment These are a God-send. So much easier to use than traditional bending tools and so much more versatile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brake line pliers Really convenient tool for making bends in tubing where you just can’t reach.
