Eastwood Brushable Seam Sealer Vs. OEMI used it to patch an area on a Porsche where the dealer had removed a 3/4 inch diameter of the factory seam sealer that was covering a fixturing hole on the right strut tower. It matched the factory texture perfectly using an plumbing flux brush to apply it and it was about half the cost of the factory seam sealer ( A Wurth product). The only downside is now I have a big can of this stuff and I am unlikely to ever need it again. Maybe it can be used for other applications around the shop.

SEAM SEALERIt tends to dry up the brush you use pretty fast so you might need more than one brush to use while you applied it on. Takes about a week to cure.

Exactly what I neededI made some difficult rust repairs where my firewall meets the windshield cowl. I was concerned about pinholes in the welds and to a bit lesser extend the aesthetics of the repair. With that and the 40 year old cab was never really being well sealed in this area, I wanted to do better. I actually purchased this for some of the external firewall repairs and intended on purchasing the 2k seam sealer for the coal area but after working with it, this stuff seemed to ‘level’ well enough I gave it a go. I masked off the cowl slots and applied with some acid brushes. I don’t think I could have gotten a better result. Water will now flow across the cowl and down the side of the cab where it should rather than through the seams and down the firewall.

Works as advertisedI was looking for a seam filler that would match what was originally used in my 1970 Plymouth Road Runner and found this product. I had no problem using a foam brush to apply this product and get a finish that was very similiar to original. I am very satisfied with the results.

Great stuffUsed this on 3 vehicles now. Description says it dries flexible but it really doesn't seem to be once cured. Not rubbery or foamy like the stuff old cars used that trapped moisture. This is more like an epoxy.

Great Product!Used this seam sealer on a truck bed trailer project & it worked great for my use! I liked the fact that I can brush it on instead of using a caulk gun like others I've used in the past.

Performs as designedOpened my new can of Seam Sealer this weekend. Drew out enough to cover the section that I was working on. It provided me around 10 minutes of work time to get it spread as desired. Product stated that it will setup in 60 minutes and that appears to be accurate. Simple to spread with a small brush.

Best Brushable Sealer everI have used several brushable sealer's before (not Eastwood brand). Most do not hold up. The 1 can I used of Eastwood's sealer is holding up to date. Just made a purchase to clean frame and finish with Eastwood frame & body part sealer. Much better product. Highly recommend
