Eastwood Fender Roller Tool is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 96.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool! I needed to roll the rear fenders on my 1995 BMW M3 to accommodate wider wheels and track tires. The tool is very well made and looks like it could stand up to daily use. It was easy to assemble and fit my hubs with wheel studs perfectly. The fender roller worked exactly as described. The key is slow and steady, and keep the paint soft with heat. The instructions are pretty basic and fail to mention that the tool can be reconfigured if necessary to better fit the fender. That would have saved a little time but wasn’t too hard to figure out. I highly recommend this tool.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Tool Shipping was fast. Item seemed fine UNTIL I did my usual 'Tool Prep'. As mentioned in another Review the Adjustment knob bolt and the nut it screws into were 'miss-aligned' or just of very poor quality. The bolt portion of the adjustment knob 'cross-threaded', and I made SEVERAL calls to Customer Service. After being very 'Demanding', I was issued a refund. I finally got a replacement part after the refund, but it was the WRONG replacement part! I know, I should be happy with the refund, but the poor quality of the tool remains, and customer service was very poor overall. NOT a good experience overall!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Maybe this one slipped through QC The shipping was fantastic. The tool arrived packaged nicely and the roller looked good at first. That's was the only good part. However while using the tool I discovered the hand wheel part of it was misaligned when they welded it. I managed to roll my fender anyways but I quickly emailed customer service asap. 4 emails and I only got 1 reply back saying he would check if my tool was still under there 1 year warranty and customer service would get back to me. Still have not heard a single thing back!! Very frustrated with customer service.

Would this work on the rear fenders of a 2002 Trans Am? From what I can tell, the lip is just a single piece of curved sheet metal, but I am not sure what exactly double walled means. Thanks.

Asked by: hal2709
The rear wheel openings on a 2002 Trans Am will be double walled. This is referring to where the quarter panel is welded to the outer wheelhouse right in the wheel opening. This makes for an extremely strong hard to move area.

Will this tool work on rear wheel openings on a 67 Chevy II

Asked by: Speedy TC
As long as they are single walled it would. If they are double walled this tool would not work.

Will it bolt up to a 5x4 bolt pattern

Asked by: yogi3041
The lug pattern range is from 3.75- 4.75. This is good on 4 and 5 lug vehicles. So this will have no problem bolting up to a 5x4 lug pattern.

will this work on a 1967 chevy chevelle

Asked by: hairball
Yes, this tool is the one you need to roll fenders. Slow and steady is the key. You want the surface just warm enough to where its too hot to keep your hand on it. A nice even distribution of heat and a steady hand go a long way here. If it looks like you did the job with a hammer when you're done you went too fast or were way too sloppy.

Professional-grade fender roller tool helps you easily increase the clearance between your tire and the fender, roll the fenders, or repair wheel-arch collision damage.

Our exclusive fender rolling tool bolts directly onto the wheel's hub flange, and the elongated holes in the adapter plate fit all popular 4- and 5-bolt hubs. It's held in place with the included dished washers and your vehicle's lug nuts. Accommodates up to a 120.6 mm (4.75") 4- or 5-lug bolt circles. Forming arm adjustability ranges from a minimum of 14" to a maximum of 22-3/4" hub-center-to-edge-of-roller to handle most automotive and light truck projects. Non-returnable. Limited one-year warranty: if defective, we'll replace the tool.

Delrin® ball-bearing fender-former rolling tool is tough enough to easily form the fender, but without damaging the paint finish. To prevent paint from cracking when forming wheel arches, gently heat the paint before forming; we recommend our 30073 Eastwood 1500W Heat Gun
