Good abrasive
Good stuff, works as you would expect, you get a lot of it, not really much more to say.

Grerat folks great product!
This is a great product. I bought a four pack of greaseless compound and use them in the restoration process with my straight razors. Don't what the other reviews are complaining about. Mine work great. No muss, no mess, no fuss.

Excellent
I've used this for years to prep primarily hand held antique tools, knives, chisles. It works like a flexible grinding wheel. Yes a 50 or 60 grit would help.

great product but messy
This is a really good product to apply to buffing wheels. The only downfall I found is that it is pretty messy. I can also see a need for a finer grit compound as the finest grit 320 still leaves some small scratches that need to be removed. A finer grit compound would be beneficial. With using the emery and stainless steel rouges, I was able to get these trim rings polished up to this level.

Money well spent
I usually use the chalk type with good success but decided to try the greaseless, personally I think the chalk is better for my application. Great value even though I can't get the greaseless 220 grit to cut like chalk emery. Still worked good for an intermediate between emery and the jewlers compound.

does this compound dry hard or does it stay soft?
The greaseless compounds have a "play doh" like consistency.

must this compound be refrigerated?
These will not require refrigeration. We do recommend though keeping them at room temp and not exposing to extremes.
