As Adam works through his C-10 project, his next job was to design and fabricate a custom cupholder mount. With a rough idea in mind, he sources some cupholder inserts and sketches out a bracket to support them. Using free Fusion 360 software, he formalizes the design and converts it to a manufacturing file. He then moves to the Eastwood 2×2 Versa Cut CNC plasma cutter to cut the design in 16-gauge stainless steel.
Once cut, he cleans up the rough edges with a flap disc before making bends with Eastwood’s new 24-inch Electro Brake. To finish out the project, he chooses semi-gloss Trim Black paint for a low-key look.
