Mark just got the Trans Am’s 10-bolt Posi-Traction diff back from a local builder. Unfortunately, the axle housings weren’t exactly as paint-ready as he was expecting. But, with a little rust cleanup first, he got to work refinishing the whole dirty rear end. Watch as he preps the rusty metal, welds a couple plugs, and applies Rust Encapsulator and 2K Chassis Black.
I didn’t know you could mig weld on cast iron? What do you have to do to mig weld up the axle plug welds?
