New Product Overview – Eastwood Pinch Weld Dollies

Moving an immobile vehicle around is one of the least favorite tasks anyone likes to do. And the only thing worse than moving a dead car around is moving a dead car that doesn’t roll. Body carts and rotisseries are great for larger projects, but take up lots of space and usually require helping hands. To deal with all these issues, Eastwood now offers its Auto Body Pinch Weld Dollies.

These compact dollies essentially serve as rolling jack stands, allowing you to move a vehicle without wheels or axles installed. They’re designed to cradle the bottom of most unibody vehicles at the pinch weld where the bodyside meets the floorpan. This is the same reinforced area typically designated by carmakers as jacking points.

Each dolly features rubber-trimmed mounting block that clamps to seam to form a secure mount without damaging the body. The mounting posts are adjustable to allow between 4 and 12 inches of clearance to fit a wide range of vehicles. Sold in pairs or as a set of four, each individual dolly supports up to 1,800 pounds. Each one also includes locking casters for stability.
