Due to the long-throw articulation of the G15 and G21 Griot Garage could not integrate fan cooling into their counterbalance. So Griot Garage engineered these long-throw machines with their cooling fan integrated into the backing plate. These plates are precision balanced and weight-matched to the G15 and G21 counterbalance and Griot's complete line of buffing pads. This 5" plate is a replacement for the G15 and allows the G21 to be converted to Griot's 5" pad system for more aggressive correcting action. Includes black-, silver-, and copper-colored fasteners.
