Application Tips
Thin with Lab Solvent (10208ZP) to ease spreadability. Typically dries in 24 hours, heat cure at 425³ F for 1 hour before exposing to high temperatures. Great for filling surfaces before powder coating where 2 or more coats are required. Net wt. 24 oz.

While I haven't made the purchase of this product from Eastwood just yet I have personally used it from a friend's purchase and and it with nothing but great results this is definitely needed when refinishing damages all materials such as Wheels Etc

Lab Metal is great stuff
Lam Metal is great but you must follow application instructions to the letter.
The hi temp solvent is extremely important. Do not attempt to apply this Lab Metal without the help of the solvent. Thin it down and apply it like paint to reduce your sanding time. I would never attempt to use any other filler as this one is the best.

Excellent Product
This a fine product. I have used it many times on high-temp applications and works great. Do not pay much attention to reviewer that mis-apply the product. Its made for a specific purpose and it works every time the directions are followed. I have used it on exhaust parts without failure.

Works well if you're patient and precise
You need to stir the product thoroughly, then put it onto your applicator and apply it sparingly, evenly, and in one stroke. Don't work it. Just lay it on.
After it dries for a day, sand it gently with a power sander and gently feather the edges with precision. It's turns really HARD, so be patient!
Works awesome with practice.

Overall It's a Great Filler Prior to Powder-Coating
I used this now twice to fill imperfections in several different valve covers I've powder-coated or am in the process of powdering.
This stuff thinned out a little bit with the thinner made it very easy to dribble/run into the defect & worked great! I was able to lightly sand it down some then let it sit for the full 24 hours prior to curing the repair in an oven.
It hasn't shown any signs of shrinkage & accepts the charged powder as if it was the original metal. Overall, it's a great product if you use it for what it's intended to do; fill/patch damaged metal that has enough material there to allow it to bite into it.

Do you have a hi temp bondo like this that is that can be powder coated and is a metallic silver in color?
The only high temp filler/bondo we have is this option here.
