Took 2 pair to work
The pliers worked well for about 50 hog rings then the spring on the handle fell off. It did not stay in place making the pliers useless. Returned for a new pair and they worked flawless.

Hog Ring pliers
These were a bit difficult to use as the rings would move as tried to position in area to clamp. The jaws are a bit too thick , compared to previous pliers i had owned.

Will these open enough to accept large (1-1/2") wide hog rings? These are used on fences. Also, are the handles long enough to give proper leverage for large wire diameter hog rings (9 gauge) also used on fences?
I do not believe these will be able to use large hog rings use for fences.
These hog ring plyers use hog rings best suited are for upholstery.
