Can i use this to seal/tighten a metal frame around glass for a wood fireplace insert glass door? This is a c-channel shaped metal trim.
The Eastwood High Temp Fiberglass Reinforced Masking tape(16322) is designed to be used in a Powder Coating application where temperatures do not exceed 450 degrees. This tape is rated to 500 degrees, but at this time we have no data that would suggest or recommend this tape for a wood burning fireplace. We recommend contacting a local Fireplace supply store for the appropriate repair material.

Can this tape protect bushings during the cure process?
Yes this high temp tape can be used for the application in reference.

Can this tape be used to stripe for multicolor Application? Such as putting on one color and then using it to add a second color creating a stripe on the finished product?
Yes, this tape will work for that application. The tape will have to be removed after the powder has been cured, at that point, apply the tape where you need to cover up, than apply powder and cure. Do that until all the colors that you are using have been applied.

Can you please explain the difference and various uses of the 4 types of HIGH TEMP MASKING TAPE you list? I am starting up powder coating and am a bit confused. Thanks!
The fiberglass tape is the thickest and great at masking two tone areas and the polyester tape is thinner and easier to trim to stop powder from getting to certain areas.
