They are suitable for any metal surface and most cure at a temperature of 400 degrees F at 20 minutes after flow out. Safety Information

When applying powder always apply it in a well ventilated area away from heat sparks and open flame. Always use a respirator rated for dust while applying powder. Always store powders in cool (less than 80 degrees Fahrenheit) dry (60 percent or less humidity) well ventilated area away from heat sparks and open flame.

Application Tips

CLEAN - Thoroughly strip and clean your metal part before coating. We recommend Eastwood Pre Painting Prep.

COAT - Apply using Eastwood DIY HotCoat Gun 11671A or the Eastwood Dual Voltage HotCoat Gun 11676.

CURE - Cure the part in an electric oven for recommended time. NEVER use an oven that is used for food.

Hi, I'd like to use this product to coat small metal jewelry pieces. I'm wondering if it will to adhere to any type of (prepared) metal and what type of media can be used to draw on or embellish the coated piece (alcohol-based ink, acrylic paint)? Thanks.

I'm not sure about alcohol-based ink. As a former jeweler, I know that Acrylic Paint will work very well. The powdered coated part is similar to a finished paint job on a car therefore embellishing it with acrylic paint is like adding accents to powder coated auto parts.
