Maxx Power Ford Chrysler Style Tri Flow Aluminum Radiator 28 Inch

Product Overview:

Description

Maxx Power Tri Flow Radiators are designed to eliminate your overheating issues. Temperature reductions of up to 24 degrees F over your current temp are not uncommon. Independent lab tests with LS motors have shown 20 degrees F drop in temp over conventional aluminum radiators and even more over OE copper/brass.

  • Designed to eliminate overheating issues
  • Temperature reductions of up to 24 degrees F
  • Fully TIG welded 6061 aluminum tanks and core
  • Unique design passes coolant though core 2x more than other radiators

It was developed with 2 rows and a 1 inch oval tube core and a unique coolant path that routes the coolant through the radiator core 3 times and increases turbulent flow while passing the coolant in front of the fan 3 times. Traditional radiators only pass the coolant 1 time in the front of the fan. This is what makes this Radiator the best on the market.

Fully TIG welded 6061 aluminum tanks, with 2 inch mounting tabs on each side make mounting in your car or truck easy, no matter what it is. Configured for universal fit with 1.5 inch inlet and 1.75 inch outlet, a machined radiator cap opening and overflow nipple on passenger side, plus a welded 1/4 NPT bung that can be used for a LS steam port or temperature sender up top, and another one for the petcock. Complete the cooling system with no fastener aluminum shroud (#20298) and 16 inch electric fan (#20243) specifically sized for MaxxPower radiators.

Warranty

365 days warranty.

Questions & Answers

will it fit in a 75 f100 pickup

Asked by: PAUL
You'll have to take some measurements of the rad area of your truck and then compare to our radiator sizes. We unfortunately do not have a list of how large the openings are on every vehicle.

My 71 Monte Carlo has a 19x33” radiator. Do you carry a radiator that will bolt into my car?

Asked by: John81
Our radiators are universal, You would have to measure out your space and figure out which one would be right for you.

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7 liter V8.  I use it to haul a 7000 pound camper.  It overheats on hills.  Would your radiators be good to keep it from overheating?

Asked by: Matt
While our radiators are a great way to reduce over all temperatures we have never run any testing on a tow rig. Certainly with the triple flow design it would have to be better than what is currently in the truck as long as the sizes are comparable. If your current radiator is much larger then it may not help.

will this rad fit in a 1940 ford deluxe with a chev 350 in it...

Asked by: paul
Since we don't know how much room you have to work with it would be impossible to say if or how well it would fit. The best way to know is to take some measurements of the area you're working with and compare to the specs of this radiator.

Have a 64 Impala 327 engine was wondering which radiator would fit it here are the specs . Core Height (In): 15-1/2 Inch Core Width (In): 24-5/8 Inch Core Depth (In): 1-1/4 Inch

Asked by: Busbus
Your specs are very similar to our 26 inch radiator. Ours is taller though at 19". You'll have to take some measurements of your rad support to see if you can clear the 19 in tall radiator. Ours are 2.2 inches thick.

I have a 1988 5.7 camaro iroc. Do you have a triflow radiator that would just bolt on. What are the cost and seperately to cost add on like fans and shrouds for this vehicle, or do you have other options that would work. Price please and thank you.

Asked by: Chris
Since our Tri Flow radiators are a universal fit all would require some work to fit to your vehicle. You simply need to take measurements of your vehicle to see which model will fit. Since pricing is subject to change here is a link to the most up to date prices of radiators, shrouds, and other accessories. https://www.eastwood.com/triflow

I have a 2005 jeep wrangler tj and would like to know if any of the eastwood radiators would work?

Asked by: Timothy
Since our Tri Flow Radiators are a universal custom design all you would need to do is take measurements of your current radiator to see which one would be a good option. None of them are necessarily designed to be a direct drop in to any vehicle.

Do you sell polished radiator tanks? Do you see units without the side mounts? My car is custom, don't need those.

At this time we do not sell either polished tank radiator or ones without the brackets. You could easily polish the tanks yourself and can also modify the mounting flanges as necessary.

It seems that those radiators are manual transmission, I do not see any transmission cooling line hook up. Is that correct? Are those radiators also made for auto transmissions?

You are correct. There are no connections for an automatic trans at this time. However we do have an accessory trans cooler for these units.

Ok that answer brings me to another question my existing radiator has the inlet and outlet on the passenger side.Would it effect the flow to change the inlet to the drivers side like on one of the eastwood radiators as the outlet would be correct.

Asked by: fine09
The flow would still be the same as long as you have the flow going into the top port. You may just need to redo your radiator hoses to reach.

Does these radiators change the flow through the engine any at all I have a 6.7 engine and they are a different animal and wonder if it would slow or change the flow through the engine.

Asked by: fine09
Our radiators would not change the flow through your engine. Just try and find what the largest radiator you can fit with the correct in and out.

I have an 83 fox body T-Bird 5.0 uses cross flow radiator. The mounting system is saddle tank mounts using the bottom radiator support & top tank bolt-on brackets. What is the overall width including your welded-on tank brackets? using the 27.5" radiator

The brackets add an additional two inches to the radiator on each side so this would make this radiator 30 inches in width.

I have a 69 charger . Can I used my OEM fan shroud and used my Clutch Fan. If so, will that affect the cooling temp?

It may take some customization to fit your existing fan shroud. As long as you get the proper airflow it should not hurt the cooling.
