A mixing formula for small batchesGolf ball=2.48 cu " per 12 drops hardener. Doing the math, .62 cu" per 3 drops. Draw a 1-3/4" circle on mixing surface. Add filler to circle boundary up to about 1/4" high. This should equal about .59 cu " of filler. Add the three drops, mix. Worked great for me to fill a small depression.

Great ProductApplies smoothly, sands easily to a feather edge. Easy to use.
Chroming over body filler — including Metal-to-Metal — isn't recommended, as the chrome plating process requires a completely solid, uniform metal substrate to adhere and finish properly. Any filler underneath will likely result in adhesion failures and an uneven final appearance. If you're restoring a bumper that needs chrome, the best approach is to repair or reshape the metal itself before sending it out for plating. That said, if this bumper is destined for paint rather than chrome, Metal-to-Metal is a great choice for smoothing minor imperfections on bare metal before priming and painting.

Can it be used under powder coating?

Great question — this is an important compatibility check before committing to a powder coat finish. Body fillers, including aluminum-reinforced ones like Metal-2-Metal, can be tricky under powder coating because the oven cure temperatures (typically 350–400°F) can cause outgassing or softening of the filler, leading to surface defects in the finish.

i have rust around wheels wells and rocker panels can i use this after cleaning out the rust and then paint and prime?

If all rust is removed- yes absolutely. Otherwise after cleaning we would recommend applying a coat of Encapsulator like the Platinum prior to applying this and proceeding.
