This unique filter features a desiccant material that changes from dark blue to pink when it's time for a replacement. Filters remove moisture, oil and particulates down to 5 microns. Dual filter pack lets you keep spraying without air contamination defects.

Application Tips
This disposable desiccant filter is designed to minimize painting failures by removing oil aerosols and any moisture that might condense in the hose downstream of the wall mounted filter. This unit will provide clean, dry air during its effective life but it is not designed to replace wall mounted filter and moisture traps.

Will these work with the bucket blasting kit? And other than the bucket kit and the air dryer what else would you recommend for a descent blasting setup?
Yes, these will certainly work for the blasting kit in reference. You will want to also have a main drying system set up on your air lines such as: https://www.eastwood.com/dvb-qc3-air-filter-and-dryer.html.

what is the average life of filter
This spec would be impossible to say due to the large amount of variables. Volume of air going through, humidity level of where you are using the product all come into play. With that said they last a decent amount of time.

does this filter go before or after the regulator
I would recommend that you put the filter on right before the regulator at the base of the tool being used.

Can the Desiccant be changed in these filters or are they one time only throw aways?
These are considered disposable filters, but they are not necessarily limited to one-time use. You may continue using them until the desiccant changes color. It's not recommended to attempt to replace the desiccant once it has changed color.
