Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cabinet for smaller shops! Came together other than the legs. Everything was sealed up with no leaks. Works as what you would expect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicde unit. I haven’t used it yet… I need mobile tools in my shop so I would pay extra for a welded stand on wheels for this unit or for wheels on your leg kit. I had to build one out of lumber. It will work but one of yours, powdercoated would be nicer. Give me an email address and I’ll sen d pictures of what I built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modular last cabinet leg extensions These legs were perfect, I can now stand and media blast my parts without having to lean over or find something to sit on. When I was first interested in these, I couldn’t find the height anywhere. To pass it on for others the legs are 36 inches tall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy construction I mounted mine to two studs with two 3/8” lag bolts. I have about 25lbs of aluminum oxide media added to it. No issue at all with weight. Im sure i could put 100 pounds in it. Also, it is Easy enough to put the legs on it too. I might take the front legs off because the cabinet hangs off the wall now. I also got the Eastwood dust collection for it. Its an awesome blaster and awesome vacuum. I read alot of reviews before i bought it. some people would say the air filter on the side of the cabinet is “crap”. I disagree, All this filter needs to do is keep the dust and media inside the cabinet. The vacuum pulls air through the filter so no dust should really get close to it. It is more than sufficient for this purpose. I bet i could take the air filter off and just use the vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modular blast cabinet I've owned a couple cabinets and this one not only works but works well. In hindsight I should have ordered the legs for the extra 50 bucks or so but ultimately I built a table. Nice unit, Eastwood does it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality and Value I recently bought this blast cabinet and it was delivered very quickly. I was impressed with how complete its assembly was. I put the legs and fittings on and it was ready to go. I am restoring an old truck and it has come in handy for brackets and parts that I want to refinish. I would recommend highly

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Served the purpose Recently the leg kit for my blast cabinet. It was a good choose. Height of the cabinet is comfortable now.
Date published: 2017-12-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good mid size blasting cabinet This product was easy to assemble and is made of quality materials. I also purchased the extended leg kit to make it a free-standing unit for easier access. The top opening door makes it easier to load and unload parts than side opening door on other similar units. Good quality unit for a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Blaster. Not too big, not too small. I have been using this blaster non stop for a month, and couldn't be happier. I have the unit connected to a 33 Gal compressor, and have only stopped a few times to let it get back to pressure. Unit is well built, came with seams already sealed with caulk, and the gloves are very heavy duty. When it first arrived the short, included legs did not match the pre drilled holes, a manufacturing defect and not Eastwood's fault. They opened up a few and and realized they problem, sent me a pair of the taller legs for my troubles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price Bought this unit to replace an old Harbor Freight cabinet. Also bought the leg kit to save bench space. Assembly was easy and quick, everything fit perfectly, and operation couldn't be easier. Have blasted about 75 pieces since I got this and it works great every time. I restore old stamped steel toys and this cabinet makes them look like new again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice cabinet, fair price! This is my first blast cabinet. I've been using a pressurized "pot" from TSC that works well outside, but I'm tired of losing media and being out in the weather. After looking at small cabinets at TSC and Harbor Freight, I decided to spend twice the money for a slightly larger unit from Eastwood. I don't live close to one of their stores, so I had to trust the photos, descriptions, and reviews here. The Modular Cabinet was on sale/reduced price(?) and they were offering free shipping for Independence Day, so I took a chance... FedEx delivered it today, so the shipping was quick, even with the Holiday! The cardboard box had a few dents on it, but the cabinet only had one slight "ding" on the bottom flange. It was mostly assembled, so my wife and I finished the job in about thirty minutes. I filled it with 60-30/60 Black Beauty grit that I had on hand and tried it out. Worked pretty good for the price! The light isn't bad, but it could be brighter. I'll probably add another one myself. The caulking inside IS pretty poor, as another reviewer already stated. I removed the intake filter, slid the foam pre-filter on it, then re-installed the filter so the flat ring is holding the foam pre-filter in place. I hooked up a small ShopVac to the exhaust port, and everything stayed where it should. To install the elbow for the vacuum, I took off the deflector on the inside, sprayed the elbow with Windex, and slid it through the grommet from the inside. Then I replaced the deflector. I don't really know what the instructions say, since I didn't do more than glance at them. I read enough reviews and watched too many You Tube videos that said they suck, and they do! Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase so far. My wife even asked if she can use it!!! I'm happy with my first purchase from Eastwood, and will probably buy from them again. Thank you...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cabinet at a great price Used my cabinet for the first time a few days ago. Mine had a small media leak at one of the weld seams in the hopper but I caulked the seam and no problem there. Works great and is the perfect tool for powder coat prep. I'm using glass bead right now but I need to get some aliuminum oxide as well for more aggressive stripping
Date published: 2017-05-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value This is my first media blasting cabinet and I love it. It was well packaged and really easy to put together. (Only took about an hour) This cabinet is well made, easy to use and had no leaks after blasting. The LED light is really bright. The blasting gloves seem well made and durable. The blasting gun is light weight and worked very well. It has gas lifters for the top and a big viewing window. There is a 1 1/2 inch. vacuum exhaust port on the back, to hook up your shop vac. I'm using the Eastwood Dust Collector which works well with it. I bought the extended leg kit which has the blast cabinet at a comfortable height for me. I'm looking for things to blast around the house now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BLAST CABINET VERY LITTLE ASSEMBLY REQUIRED ! DON'T BUY A CHEAP HARBOR FREIGHT , SAVE FRUSTRATION & BUY THIS FIRST . EVEN THE LIGHT WAS NICE ! SAME GOES FOR SANDBLASTING POT , WOW !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cabinet Bought this cabinet recently and am really enjoying it. Very easy to use and had no problem setting it up. Could be packaged a little better but shipping companies could care more about there jobs too rather than beat the tar outta every package the deliver. Great cabinet for the money. I did a lot of research and opted to use Eastwood. Will be getting my business in the future for other tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid legs Solid legs. A bit annoying to assemble. Good height overall. Would purchase again.
Date published: 2024-02-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems ok Haven't used it much yet but seems to work ok except for that it doesn't feed the abrasive media evenly and that I haven't gotten the air line fittings to seal up they leak a little , I like the size and concept but to me just a little pricey for what it is.
Date published: 2022-01-31
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product. Unit is of better quality than most. Has a decent light, and good sealing, and good door struts. However, residual sand in hopper section is reluctant to slide down, and sides have to be tapped regularly to keep pickup hose supplied.I did install a good moisture filter on the side, so the media is dry.
Date published: 2022-01-25
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Works good. No leaks that I have noticed with shop vac attached. Was easy to assemble. Only reason for 4 star rating is wishing light was brighter inside. Adequate for most people probably but my old eyes could use better.

would this unit be recommended for use on firearms for the purpose of refinishing or would recommend a smaller unit?

Asked by: Titofrito
There is not a difference function wise between the sizes of these units we sell. The main difference is the internal working dimensions. As long as the firearm or part you are blasting fits within the cabinet and you use appropriate media- you could utilize any of these options.
