Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Paint Removal I'm stripping down my '89 F-150 prior to repaint and so far I've done most of one side (Super cab w/ 8' bed) with one wheel and it's got plenty of life left. The pad does not load up at all, but the OEM paint is thin and not a clear-coat job. Two tone metallic blue. There is no vibration when a 7/8 centering hub is used. I use a hub nut as the backstop with the raised ring facing outward, then the wheel fits on that, and another hub nut on the top with the flat side in. No complaints at all.

Will remove light surface rust, seems wear out a little sooner than I expected. Will not remove paint without clogging up quickly. Really more of a surface prep disc than a paint remover. I use these regularly and rely on them after chemical stripping old finish to prep the metal for primer or before using a metal etch product.

Be sure to not exceed max rpm. If you do, wheel could fly apart. Faceshield recommended with these types of tools.

Is this for a 7" grinder? It says 7in in the title. I am assuming it is for a 7" angle grinder
