Rated 5 out of 5 by from Five I used the product as it was written in the directions, the only thing was getting the extra out of the tank there is a lip inside of motor cycle tanks so I used a large turkey basting syringe with some tubing to pull it out. worked okay i then let my tank sit for five days inside put it back on the bike all is good. I would definitively use again. But don't forget to where gloves still on my hands a week later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT STUFF! I've used other products, non of them as good as POR-15. Follow the directions and all will go well. I suggest you put a couple of nuts in the can of sealer, put the lid back on and shake like crazy to stir up the silver solid material. Mine was a big lump on the bottom of the can. I dried the water out of my two gas tanks by blowing air from my compressor in to the tank while having a heat lamp on it, it worked great. Thanks Eastwood for great service and a great price. Localy it would have been twice the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT WORKS - GREAT STUFF I have a 1939 Evinrude 1.1 HP Boat Motor that was handed down to me from my Dad. The gas tank is made of aluminum and would hold water but put gas into it and it leaked everywhere. After following the instructions to the letter I can tell you that this gas tank doesn’t leak anymore. The grandkids are all excited about using Great Grandpa’s boat motor when we go camping next month. This product has brought life back into a 73 year old motor that I’m sure will be handed on to more generations. Thank you Eastwood for having the best price on the net I could find and a GREAT product in POR-15.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OUTSTANDING! I repaired a fuel tank on my 1982 Honda Sabre 750. This product is outstanding! If you need to repair a motorcycle gas tank this is the stuff to buy. My only suggestion is to take your time and don't rush. Follow the instruction on the can and you won't be disappointed.

My Motorcycle tank is actually 2 tanks with a hose that is 5/16"id that connects the 2, will this product plug the transfer pipe? i think the ID of the pipe is 1/4".

It would be recommended to remover the tanks and transfer piping to keep it from getting plugged up.

Your description says this product is for "smaller" tanks. How small is small? I have a micro car with about a 6 gal tank. Is this enough? Also, why is the treatment for motorcycles and cars completely different?

My BMW motorcycle aluminum tank has been sealed before using some type of "creme" sealant that was poured in and the tank rotated to coat, and now it leaks. Will this coating have to be removed?

Will this product work on a motorcycle oil tank

My MC tank has petcock that I removed and replaced with a threaded plug to prep and seal the tank. When do you recommend I remove the temporary plug to avoid breaking the fresh coating on the bottom of my tank and not coat the threads?

I recently purchased an '02 BMW R1150R, that sat for years with about one gallon of "something" in the tank. This tank is over 6 gallons and is baffled. Will I need more than 1/2 pint of POR-15? Can I buy a kit with a quart size of POR-15, just in case?
