Description
POR-15® is a high-tech, high performance rust-preventive coating designed for application directly on rusted or seasoned metal surfaces. It dries to an incredible rock-hard, non-porous finish that won't chip, crack, or peel, and it prevents rust from recurring by protecting metal from further exposure to moisture. Use it to coat rusty frames, floor pans, farm equipment, marine equipment, or even a heavily corroded battery tray. POR-15® is sensitive to UV light (sun) and must be top coated for prolonged exposure to sunlight. Top coating is not required for areas not exposed to sunlight.

One quart covers about 96 square feet at one coat Step 1- Degrease with Eastwood's PRE or POR-15 Marine Clean Step 2- Neutralize and etch the surface with Fast Etch or Metal Ready Step 3- Coat surface with POR 15, allow to cure Step 4 Topcoat with any one of the many Eastwood Paints and coatings

As good as ever!
Repeat buyer. This stuff holds up the best of the stuff I've tried. In my experience, the shelf life once opened in limited because I can't seal the can as well as it was when it arrived, so I buy a smaller container so I don't waste it. That's my only caveat. For fighting rust, it's the best !

Legendary for a reason...
Thinner than I expected, so definitely needed two coats, but a little goes a long ways. Even though this stuff is expensive, I will probably buy more in the future, because it is worth it in the end to do it just once by doing it right the first time.

Good Product That Works Well !!
I purchased POR15 to use on the underside of a rusty hood.It worked well.Don't be fooled with "like" products.

Goes on nicely with a brush, flows evenly.
I've used POR 15 before. I just used it on the trunk floor of my 70 Road Runner. Worked great. Eastwood had a great deal on pint cans.
