POR-15 Top Coats have attributes similar to POR-15 Rust Prevention Coating, but with no sensitivity to UV light. All are flexible, non-porous, extremely scratch resistant and chip resistant and will strengthen when exposed to moisture. Use over POR-15 Rust prevention and other finishes. They will protect against corrosion and won't crack, peel or chip! Chassis Coat has a semi-gloss appearance. For maximum durability Chassis Coat should be clear coated.

Safety Information
Always wear skin, eye and respiratory protection when painting. Always use in a well ventilated area away from open flame. For more specific safety warnings, consult MSDS.
Stir contents well, then dispense a portion into a separate container and seal can at once, keeping lid and grooves clean to avoid permanently sealing can shut. Do not paint out of can. Apply and continue to stir every few minutes to keep pigments in suspension. Stirling Silver, like all POR-15® coatings, should always be stirred, never shaken. Thin only with POR-15® Solvent, if necessary. Apply in thin, covering coats, and try to avoid painting back and forth over the same area.
Is it better to brush or spray POR-15?
IS IT BETTER TO BRUSH OR SPRAY POR-15? Most people brush it on, but many spray also. Proper equipment and organic vapor particulate respirators for solvents are essential for spraying.

What spray tip should you use for por 15 top coat when spraying after por 15 rust treatment? Should you thin it at all?

Can this be used as a standalone product on bare metal?

Technically yes, but it does work best when used in conjunction over the Original POR15 coatings.

Can this product be sprayed and what apparatus and thinning is recommended, if any?

Reducer should not be needed. Spray: Use 25-30 lbs (170Kpa-210pa) pressure for normal gloss.
