Description

The ultimate filler adhesive. Apply right over rust or bare metal.

Fix that seam or channel with POR-15 Patch. For years our customers have asked us for a thicker version of our world famous POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, to use for filling seams or holes. Here it is! POR-15 Patch is quite literally POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating in a tube, and it dries as hard as a rock, remains flexible, and once dry is totally impervious to fuels and solvents. It’s so tough it may actually add strength to weakened metal, and it won’t absorb moisture and swell like conventional body fillers. Try it yourself, it’s incredible! Patches holes or cracks in steel, wood, and some plastics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Por 15 patch Great product. I was a bit hesitant to use as my experiences with POR 15 have been good and bad. This product does exactly as described. Gloves are a must. It would be nice if it had a key or tool to help get all the product out of the tube.

Do I still need to use Eastwood’s Rust Converter before the Seal Sealer ?

This depends on the condition of the metal. If it's 100% covered in rust you'll want to use the rust converter first. If it's part rust and part bare metal after some wire brushing you'll want to use our Rust Encapsulator first.

HOW FLUID IS THE PRODUCT ? I WANT TO BACKFILL A RUSTED AREA .

This product isn't very fluid. The seam sealer is more like a caulk. It can be pushed into areas though.

Por15 is it paintable.  Can I cover it with sea sealer and paint?
