I bought this undercoating gun to paint inside a boxed in frame on a truck project. It worked awesome, I was skeptical that it would be any better than the other guns I have boy was I wrong. This is a heavy urethane aluminum paint and it sprayed it perfectly with no thinning. Thank you for selling a gun like this, it was the only one I could find that looked like it would do the job. By the way can’t wait to try it with oil under coating like what it was designed for I have no doubt it will perform perfectly.

Great tool

Works as it should nice pattern and self cleans
Bought to replace a old gun. Works great, I like the self line blow out feature at the end of each shot. Shot wax with it so far, looking forward to trying undercoating soon.

Pro Undercoating Gun
This model gun was recommended by the Eastwood tech I talked to. I used in with the Eastwood "Heat Insulation and Sound barrier" kit. I could not be more pleased with the way this gun functions. Yes it is way more pricey than the others offered by Eastwood , but personally think it is worth it. By the way, this guns cup is pressurized (I do not believe the others are). It pushes heavier materials with no effort at all. Great fluid control also.

Has features other guns do not.
This is a quality product. The main feature this gun has over others is the various wands that can be used to get into areas you can't see.

I am looking for a gun which will spray oil based products such as Rust Check and deliver a fine mist instead of the splatting effect which wastes product. Will this be gun be capable of this?
No, The level of atomization you are looking for has more to do with Viscosity and air pressure than equipment.

Will this gun spray raptor bed liner products.
Yes, you should be fine to use the Raptor Bed liner in this undercoating gun.

The instructions for the bed liner that I plan to use says that thinning and cleaning should be done with acetone. Will using acetone to clean this gun present any problems? What is the ideal way to clean this gun after use with bed liner materials?
Lacquer thinner and Acetone can be used in this gun for clean up without issues.

What is the thread size that the wonds connect to the gun with ??? i bought a replacement on a few weeks ago and it dosent fit i did buy my gun when they 1st came out was there a change in it??

It has not been directly tested but this should not be an issue.

There is no manual available online. The Undercoating gun(19867) does have instruction sheets and photo breakdowns in the box as delivered.
