Easy to use Turret-Style Design

The "turret-style" design of this Eastwood double flaring tool allows you to make precision flares in minimal time. All the brake-flaring forming dies you need are mounted right on the turret. There's no fumbling for small parts and no worry about missing dies. All you have to do is rotate the die head to the line size you need to flare, add the die and then use the lever handle to bend the line. A T-handle screw clamp securely holds your line in place during forming.

That other flaring kit broke and would not flare the stainless steel line. I bought this Eastwood flaring kit. It worked perfect and only took minutes to do. Flares were perfect. Well worth the money for the right tool .

Should of gotten this from the start. It takes like two seconds to flare with this tool, and they are perfect every time. Only things to consider. Can't use this on the car, it has to be in a vise! But if like me you are remaking lines and then putting them in it works perfect. If you are making air suspension lines or similar. Amazing tool! Last thing you want is to bend a line and then ruin the flare. This is a do it once tool.

Does this flaring tool work with the nickel copper brake lines without slippage

I have been trying to double flare a piece of 3/16 tubing but the tubing slides from under the die. I have tightened it as tight as possible but it still sightly slips. Please advise me of a solution to the problem. Thank you.

The tube and dies should be as clean as possible. If flaring factory stainless steel line, it is difficult with any manual flare kit.

8mm and 5/16" are very close. Will this do both sizes?

These can only be used for the direct size listed for. You do not want there to be any play/room in the dies or it will not yield desirable results.

Does this tool (25304 flaring tool) work with newer PVF coated 3/16 brake line? If so, does the PVF need to be stripped off the line to use the tool?

If using PVF coated brake lines we recommend stripping the coating on areas where you will be flaring.
