Why search for a separate bubble, single and double flaring tool when you can get all three in the same kit? This Eastwood brake flaring tool mounts in your vise to help you easily form 45-degree flares in OEM steel, stainless steel and soft metal tubing. It mounts directly to your benchtop vise and be stored in a cabinet or toolbox when not in use. DIY enthusiasts can use our brake line flare tool on 3/16-inch, ¼-inch, 5/16-inch, 3/8-inch and 4.75-mm diameter lines with the included split dies. This means it will handle all your plumbing jobs, including brake lines, transmission cooler lines and fuel lines.
Easy to use Turret-Style Design
The "turret-style" design of this Eastwood double flaring tool allows you to make precision flares in minimal time. All the brake-flaring forming dies you need are mounted right on the turret. There's no fumbling for small parts and no worry about missing dies. All you have to do is rotate the die head to the line size you need to flare, add the die and then use the lever handle to bend the line. A T-handle screw clamp securely holds your line in place during forming.
Each Tool Manufactured with the Highest Quality
Every Eastwood Pro Flaring Tool is inspected and tested before it's shipped to you! The factory does a test operation using 3/16-inch brake line on each tool. When you receive your flaring tool, you will find a piece of brake line left in the installed block showing this has been done. This ensures that every tool manufactured meets Eastwood's high quality standards. Compare our flaring tool to high-dollar European or U.S. models and see for yourself — you can't beat the high-quality results you'll get with this brake tubing flare kit. It's a professional-grade tool at a do-it-yourself price.

Good toolI was very impressed with this tool. Replaced a much older version which would no longer tighten up on the line I was trying to flare. This pushed the tubing down through clamps.

Best flaring tool I've usedHands down the easiest fastest flaring tool I've used. Once set up with correct dies and with correct turret positions selected, perfect double inverted flares can be accomplished in about 10 seconds. It does require mounting in a vice to work well, but I've successfully held the base with a large adjustable wrench on occasion. leaves no marks on the tubing behind the flare. Would not hold a plastic coated 4.75mm brake line when I tried it. The tubing would slip through the die when attempting to flare it. Worked well after the plastic coating was removed.
Description & turret shows 4.75mm only.
So, this tool set won't handle nor create the other 6/8/10-mm bubble flare sizes and tubing? Advance thank you for your help.

Not without purchasing the “add-on” kit for the 37° flares. For some reason 10+ years either hasn’t been enough time for them to figure out that 95% of the people buying this kit only need the 37° blocks, or they have known this info all along and this is their preference on profiteering.

Does this flaring tool work with the nickel copper brake lines without slippage
Asked by: Ed 68
Copper Nickel Tubing can vary greatly in quality from manufacturer to manufacturer. Low end Copper Nickel tubing can crack, deform, and not flare properly in some applications. Eastwood recommends BrakeQuip’s Copper Nickel (EW#30769) tubing for use with this tool. If you are experiencing issue flaring copper nickel tubing with this tool, but not other materials, the tubing is likely the issue. Always make sure the tubing is cut square with a tubing cutter, the end is burr free inside and out, and a lubricant is used on the end of the tubing when flaring.

I have been trying to double flare a piece of 3/16 tubing but the tubing slides from under the die. I have tightened it as tight as possible but it still sightly slips. Please advise me of a solution to the problem. Thank you.
Asked by: Big Block
The tube and dies should be as clean as possible. If flaring factory stainless steel line, it is difficult with any manual flare kit.

8mm and 5/16" are very close. Will this do both sizes?
Asked by: JohnnyNapalm
These can only be used for the direct size listed for. You do not want there to be any play/room in the dies or it will not yield desirable results.
