Product Overview:

Description

Eastwood Pro Tube Notcher

Make almost anything out of piping by keeping our benchtop tubing notcher in your toolkit. Constructed from solid steel, this easy-to-use tube notcher is built to create accurate notches time after time. It’s designed to notch tubing from ¾-inch to 3-inch in diameter, which means you can build go-carts, a full roll cage for a race car, a custom exhaust on your hot rod and much more. Our pipe notcher does all this while fitting conveniently on most workbenches and sliding into a toolbox drawer when you’re done.

Use any ½-inch hand drill to power the Eastwood Professional Tubing Notcher. It accepts all standard hole saws for cutting the actual notches, such as our 7-piece hole saw kit. The cutting angle is adjustable up to 50 degrees with the loosening of one bolt, giving you countless possibilities. Adjust to your desired angle with one hand and lock down the bearing block with your other. This adjustment method is easier than other designs on the market. Mount it in a vise or on a bench top for stable operation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great Notcher I purchased this great Tool a few months ago. I'm building a '37 Chevy Pro Mod Coupe, carbon fiber body, frame up Street Rod. This is my toughest challange to date. I had my frame rails and roll cage CNC bent Bent by AME, Art Morrison Ent, Fife WA, and the roll cage is their steel alloy tubing. I have a complete rolling chassis with Running gear is less than a year, part time working on this creation. Ya, the iFS and IRS is Corvette, but the Diffy is a Dutchman's Aluminum alloy IRS Cente Section - for strength.. Tools like this one make the Differance. Lots of tubing means lots of End Notching Cuts, but following NHRA spec's,, which means a lot of 1 5/8 inch tubing. We're utizing an old 1/2 electric gear reduction drill, it cut nice and slow buts it's heavy But and the cuts are excellent Overall Rating* Field input is valid. ✔ Excellent Review Title* Field input is valid.Maximum of 50 characters. ✔ This tool and others I have puchased from Eastwood has made this Huge Frame up build so much easier. As a Retirered Engineer, I expect Prefection !

I build pipe fences for a living would this be able to cut threw 2 3/8 pipe and 1/4 wall

Asked by: Cr8640
This tool is capable of holding the 2 3/8" pipe. The hole saw kit that you use will determine the thickness of the pipe that can be cut. Cutting oil on the inside and outside of the hole saws will be a must.
