Description

Pypes exhaust systems will give you more horsepower, better MPG and a great throaty deep tone. These cross-member back systems are made of 16-gauge 409 stainless steel with a natural finish. All Pypes systems include an X-Pipe for a balanced flow with minimal back pressure thus maximizing HP. The system includes slip-fit tubing, stainless steel hangers and zinc coated clamps. Designed to exit the rear of the vehicle unless noted. These systems are designed to bolt to your headers or down pipe. Includes instructions. Fits 1967-81 GM F-Body, Pypes part number SGF13S. Mufflers sold separately.

Will your splitter tips fit without to much modification

Assuming you have a 2nd gen Firebird, the 3" is very tight under those cars. The splitters will work only if you make an adapter pipe to attach from the system to the splitter. It will not look and fit correctly without this pipe. PYPES only makes the 2.5" adapter pipes for that system. They never made the 3" adapter pipes because it's so tight. If you are making 600 or less, you can use the 2.5" system and then get the correct adapter pipe.

1971Chevelle big block with shorty headers. is this system applicable for my car ?

This exhaust system is for 67-81 F-body, this would be a camaro or firebird. It is not applicable for his car.

It is unlikely you would be able to get this to work for you vehicle as it Fits 1967-81 GM F-Body vehicles.
