Description

Rage Ultra is the world's best sanding body filler. Its unparalleled sanding qualities are a result of the patent pending formula that contains renewable technology. Its non sag formula has excellent filling properties, while eliminating the need for finishing putty. Rage Ultra contains ZNX 7 which quickly provides superior adhesion to galvanized steel and aluminum, eliminating the risk of pulling back the feather edge. .8 gallon/3 liters, includes cream hardener.

You will also need to purchase the HARDENER - item 60476 or 14064. Both items are in the Frequently Bought Together section above so you can easily add them to your cart.

Safety Information

Read all directions and warnings prior to using Evercoat products. Always wear eye, skin and respiratory protection. Use in a well ventilated area. Never return mixed filler to canKeep can closed and store in a cool dry place. VOC 1.64lbs/gallon.

Application Tips

Clean and degrease the entire panel to be repaired with soap and water, followed by a mild cleaning solvent. Thoroughly dry the surface before repairing. Keep the repair area small. Use 80 grit to remove the paint and featheredge. Stir the body filler before using. Knead the cream hardener. Measure hardener 2% by weight (add a ribbon of cream hardener from edge to edge across the center of a 4 inch diameter puddle. Puddles larger than 4 Inch in diameter will require additional hardener. Mix thoroughly until uniform color is achieved.

Can this product be used on a corvette fiberglass body?

Repair holes, tears and cracks Compatible with most metals and fiberglass Waterproof formula This waterproof formulation also provides excellent feather edging and sanding properties. Can be used with or without fiberglass matting. Cream hardener included. Can this be applied over 2k primer, or any other surfaces, or is it a Bare Metal filler?

This filler can be used over our 2k primers in reference without issues as long as the surface is properly prepped.

For a beginner, is this easier to use than the contour? Second, can I use this over cured epoxy primer?

For the beginner either product would work exceptionally well. Both have excellent adhesion and sanding qualities. Both products can be used over cured epoxy primer. It is recommended to sand the epoxy primer surface to add texture if it has been allowed to cure over 5 days.

Can this b powder coated

This body filler cannot be powder coated as it cannot withstand the heat. The High Temp Lab Metal we sell is a perfect choice to use prior to powder coating.
