If installing structural braces and supports-they really should be welded. This can be used in addition to welding but should not be used as the sole bonding option.

Should the 2 panel's be butted together or played over each other?

Asked by: Mudwasp72
When using Eastwood Panel adhesive (31087) the panels to be bonded need to be overlapped approximately 3/8" to 1/2" to provide a sufficient amount of surface area to insure a strong and permanent bond. We recommend using a flanging tool such as Eastwood Panel flanger (31092) to create a flange along the panel edge that is the proper depth for panel bonding.

Will this product work for floor panel replacement?

Asked by: Billy
This is not intended for structural panel use. Floor panels, especially on a unitized body are an important structural component of a vehicle body. Patching very small areas would be alright but not complete sections.

Can I use this to seal a drip rail and if so can it be painted over with no problems?

This product is for bonding panels together rather than just sealing an area like a seam sealer. If you want to simply seal the seam at a drip rail we suggest using one of our paintable seam sealers.

I have a 94 camaroz28 with fiberglass door panals that kp separating would this product work on that application when windows up put pressure on seem witch caused it to separate over a lil time constant problem haven't found a GD adhesive yet

Asked by: Jeff
The no weld panel adhesive would be a good fit for your door panels in your Z28 The most important thing that you will need to do, is to clean all other adhesives out form that gluing area that you may have tried. In order for this product to work as intended you will have to have your area cleaned directly down to the fiberglass.

Can this product be used bond one panel on top of another then add filler to transition the edges? I'm wondering if it will flex or cause "ghosting" around the edge of the patch panel.

Asked by: Toledoman
This product is made for gluing one panel to another. There should be no flex, or Ghosting around the seam. For added protection we would suggest applying a thin coat of Metal To Metal over the seam. This product is water proof and will really hep in getting your body filler to look totally seamless. Item # 10021ZP https://www.eastwood.com/metal-to-metal-filler-quart-with-hardner.html
