Hot topic....!!
I was trying to figure out how to get the old rock hard undercoating on my 57 chevy off as easy and less messy as possible. This heat gun was such a God send for this job. This gun and a few puddy knifes got most of the thicker areas knocked down fairly fast. Clean up the rest with lac. thinner or enamel reducer.
I have only had the gun for a week but hope it will last through the job. For the price.... it is worth the money to me.

Died on the first use
Bought this last year finally went to use it for the first time and it lasted about 5 minutes before it just died. Past warranty so can’t get a new one or a refund. At least it was only $25 I guess.
