Does not give a good finish
I bought this to repaint an old pickup truck. The gun needs a lot of air to give a good finish.
My compressor has 30 gallon tank and gives 6.5 CFM at 40 lbs. At these flows and pressures the pattern is small and finish is pebbly. Bought this to take place of an older Concours that I was having problems with. If looking for a gun for home use, this is NOT it.. Consider a LVLP gun instead'

Bought this kit to spray a utility truck tool box. Primer gun worked ok. When I was spraying the top coat the gun stopped sending paint threw it. Took it apart and cleaned it but, still no paint( just a light mist) . Had to revert back to the primer gun to finish the job.

Sorry if I'm ignorant - can I control the air pressure on the gun using the gauge or do I have to set my air compressor to the recommended 25-30 PSI for your Epoxy Primer?
The air pressure can be controlled using the supplied regulator with the kit.

What size tank (gallons) is needed for these guns?
You need a compressor that is capable of putting out 10-13 cfm.

The aluminum lids leak like a siv, are there a replacement lid like plastic?
There are no replacement lids available for these Lockwood guns.
