Safety Information

Use a properly fitted dust mask or respirator, safety glass or safety shield. Wear heavy gloves, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt to protect any exposed skin. Use our Safety Kit (50097) for complete protection. To check that the deadman valve is operating properly, depress the valve lever and release, assuring it closes over the nozzle under its own spring pressure. If it doesn't, do not use the deadman valve until the spring or obstruction is repaired.

Questions & Answers

How many times can the media be reused?

Asked by: jrose
It can not be reused because the soda beads pop upon impact and are not salvageable afterwards.

What sort of clean up issues will I encounter if I use this outside in the grass?  Is this safe to walk on after it has been used?

Asked by: ziggy
Soda media is very environmentally friendly. it will be fine to walk on after use. If you are not doing a big project I would recommend using a drop cloth or plastic under the project for a fast easy clean up.

What tip size and air pressure recommended for this product when media blasting a 66 nova? What CFM would be needed for this recommended tip size and PSI. What media would be the next step more aggressive if the 10%70grit isn’t aggressive enough?
