Can i use this in a tumbler machine for carburetors

Asked by: 2222
This is not designed for use in our tumbler options. The tumblers we sell are designed to be used with the brown or green pyramid media and corn cob dri-shine polish only.

What type of media is used in the small table top blast cabinets. I’m blasting sheet metal. Gas cap door on 54 Chevy.

Asked by: Big Whoop
The most commonly used media in the tabletop blaster is aluminum oxide and glass bead.

Will glass bead remove powder coating with your damaging the soft metal below? I tried soda ash but it did not work very well. Could you recommend a media to use?

Asked by: Craig Rudd
Thanks Sean, I just tried paint stripper and it worked like a charm. I am ready to re-powder coat the the piece. I was told a paint stripper would not work but learned it works great. Thank you very much!

What should be used on original paint and minor surface rust

Asked by: George 53
Anytime you have rust present, soda is not the best option- it won't be effective enough. Aluminum oxide and ground glass will be your most efficient medias for this scenario.

Can this be used with the dustless blaster unit #20668?

Asked by: freec78
Soda Media is not recommended. The more suitable media would be Glass Bead, or Ground Glass.

Can I use this stuff under a car to remove rust. Will it blow a hole in rubber and plastic hoses?

Asked by: BOBL273
This product can certainly be used under a car. We would recommend staying away from sensitive rubber and plastic hoses as much as possible.
